- Binchotan (Japanese Oak) activated charcoal is the highest grade of charcoal. These charcoals are from the Kishu region of Japan.
- Excellent natural properties that help reduce odor and hardness from water, and filter for better tasting drinking water. Filtering time is approximately 3-4 hours.
- Reactivate charcoal every two weeks by boiling for 10 minutes and letting dry.
- Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality.
