About this item

A traditional Japanese donabe clay pot with an outer lid, inner lid, and sunoko (steamer tray) for perfectly cooked rice, stews, and steamed dishes.
Use the outer and inner lid to make incredibly fluffy and sticky rice. To steam, use the outer lid and the steamer tray for more flavorful meat and vegetables and to drain excess oil.
Cooks food using Far-Infrared Rays (FIR) which brings out the flavor in dishes. Effectively stores heat inside the pot ensuring that food will remain hot when served.
True and authentic Banko-yaki (Banko ware), a type of Japanese pottery from Mie, Japan that dates back from the 18th century.
Pot Diameter: 10.6 in (width with handles -12.6 in) - Capacity: 2000ml (approx. 8.5 cups) - Color: Black. Not dishwasher-safe.
Not compatible with induction stoves.
Can be used for up to 360°C
