- Binchotan, also known as Japanese Oak, activated charcoal, is the highest quality charcoal. These charcoals are sourced from the Kishu region of Japan.
- Outstanding natural filtration properties that aid in reducing water odor and hardness, and purifying for better-tasting drinking water. Filtration time for 1-2 gallons of water is 6-7 hours.
- Use 1 stick for 1-2 gallons of water; stick measures approximately 2.5-3cm in diameter and 15cm in length.
- Rejuvenate charcoal every two weeks by boiling for 10 minutes and allowing to dry.
- Do not use with water that has unknown quality or is microbiologically unsafe.
