- Cotton dishcloths are infused with highest grade binchotan charcoal. The fibers are 6 ply for extra absorbency and durability. Traditional Japanese weave and construction make the fabric softer and more absorbent with use. The outer layer of the dishcloth develops micro pulls over time, creating a softer feel. The special weave pattern prevents the pulls from spreading. The fabric starts off stiff but becomes incredibly soft with use. Soaking in hot water can speed up the softening process. The feel and texture of this fabric is unique compared to standard dishcloths. The dishcloths are safe to wash in the machine, but color will fade slightly and the cloth will shrink by about 10 to 15 percent after the first wash - do not put them in the dryer. Three dishcloths are included, each with dimensions of 13.5 x 13.5 inches (35 x 35 centimeters). One side of the dishcloths is aqua, white, and purple, while the reversible side is binchotan gray.
