- Binchotan (Japanese Oak) activated charcoal is the highest grade of charcoal. These charcoals are from the Tosa region of Japan.
- Excellent natural filtration properties that help reduce odor and hardness from water, and purify for great-tasting drinking water. Filtering time is approximately 3-4 hours.
- Use 1 stick for 2 liters of water. Each stick is approximately 0.75" to 1" (2cm to 2.5cm) in diameter and 4" (10cm) in length.
- Reactivate charcoal every two weeks by boiling it for 10 minutes and letting it dry.
- Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality.
