- Binchotan (Japanese Oak) activated charcoal is the highest grade of charcoal. These charcoals are from the Kishu region of Japan.
- 6 sticks of binchotan charcoal included per package. Average size of each stick is approximately 0.5" in diameter and 4" in length. Individual size may vary as this is a natural product.
- Slim binchotan charcoal pieces are uncommon, and these have been specially chosen to fit into personal water bottle openings. Utilize one piece for a personal water bottle, or two pieces for a carafe. One stick is capable of filtering as much as 750 ml (25.4 oz) of water. To reactivate the charcoal, boil it for 10 minutes and allow it to dry every two weeks.
- Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality.
